Thomas A. Stazinski, passed away peacefully at his home in Sutton on December 10, 2024. Born in Boston, MA, on March 5, 1941, Tom lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to his family, a successful career, and a love for the outdoors.

Tom's journey began in Boston, but his story unfolded across many beautiful places, from the beaches of Marshfield to the scenic landscapes of Maine. He shared 47 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Brenda (Batchman) Stazinski, whom he met in Marshfield in 1977 and married in 1993. Together, they created a lifetime of memories and a loving family.

A devoted father, Tom cherished his children: Sheryl Stazinski and her husband Stephen Powers, Sharlene Rochefort and her husband Paul, Sharon Stazinski, Shelley Santor, and Thomas Stazinski and his wife Maureen, all of whom he raised with love and pride in Walpole and Dedham. He was also a cherished brother to John Stazinski and his wife Carol of Norwood. His role as a loving "Staz" was embraced by his grandchildren Richard and his husband Dave, Stephan, George, Peter, Dean, Anna, Owen, Sharlotte, and Wyatt, and he was a doting great-grandfather to Shannon and Benjamin. Tom's extended family of loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends will fondly remember the warmth and joy he brought into their lives.

Tom's professional life was as fulfilling as his personal life. A proud graduate of Hyde Park High School, he went on to own and operate Trico Machine Company alongside his brother John for approximately 40 years. His hard work and dedication to the family business were evident to all who knew him.

An adventurous spirit, Tom had a passion for the great outdoors. He loved to go camping, often pulling his fifth-wheel camper up and down the coast. Summers were spent at the beach in Marshfield, where Tom created cherished memories with his children. Tom and Brenda’s second home in Maine, which they enjoyed from 1978 to 1996, was a testament to their love for nature and adventure. In retirement, they bought a house in central Florida, where he spent the last two years soaking up the sun and enjoying the local community. His travels also took him to the Florida Keys, where he reveled in the beauty of the sea and the sky.

Tom's love for sports was more than just a pastime; it was a way to connect with his grandchildren, spending countless days cheering them on at baseball and softball fields. He was not just a spectator but the heart of family gatherings, hosting Sunday Dinners and Friday Night Pizza Nights. With pizzas made from scratch, Tom welcomed not only his family but also the neighborhood kids, making his home a hub of love and laughter.

A man of many talents, Tom was also an avid fisherman and a seasoned hunter, looking forward to deer hunting season in Maine each year. His ability to fix and create, coupled with his adventurous and loving nature, made him the handy and dependable patriarch of his family.

Tom Stazinski's life was marked by his profound love for his family, his adventurous spirit, and his generosity. He leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and the importance of family bonds. Tom's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, as a guide and an inspiration for generations to come. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
