Susan E. (Finnegan) Temmallo

Susan E. Temmallo (Finnegan) of Walpole formerly of Lexington, Medford, and Cambridge passed peacefully on April 20 at the age of 82.  Beloved wife of the late Robert P. Temmallo Sr.  Devoted mother of Lisa T. Olmsted and her husband Dale of Walpole, Lauren Meehan and her husband Donald of Millis, and the late Robert P Temmallo Jr. and Christopher T. Temmallo and his surviving wife Pamela of Tewksbury.  Cherished sister of the late Thomas Finnegan and Joseph Fromm.  Loving "Nana" of Kyle and Christopher Temmallo, Brian, Derek, Taryn Capraro and her husband Josh, and Robbie Temmallo, Alex, Hayden and Julia Olmsted, and Cameron, Owen, and Gavin Maunsell.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Born and raised in Cambridge, Sue was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School and The Wyndham School of Boston. Sue took great pride working for the New England Telephone Company and after taking an early retirement she and papa spent their time doting over their grandchildren. 

Along with her family, music held a special place in her heart. Over the years she sang for the N.E. Telephone Co. chorus, Lexington Pops Chorus and the chorus of the United Church in Walpole. In her later years Sue was a resident of the Thomas Upham House in Medfield where she received warm and loving care. “Susie Q” spent her days there singing to the music. She will be sorely missed. 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 at Oak Grove Cemetery (230 Playstead Rd Medford) relatives and friends invited.  Please in lieu of flowers all donations in her memory can be made to The Thomas Upham House "Activities Fund" 519 Main Street Medfield Ma 02052
