Sabrina Mann Obituary

Sabrina passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2025 at age 23. She is mourned by her parents Roger P. and Susan Mann and brother Roger T. Mann; her grandparents Jim and Amy Sheu; her aunts and uncles Leslie and Dave Foxen, Sandra and Matteo Frigo, and Heather Sheu, her cousins Dave, Kim and Joseph Foxen, Antonio and Marco Frigo, her devoted boyfriend Connor Bowen and his extended family and the many other family members and wide circle of friends who will cherish memories of this remarkable young woman. We know her dear late grandmother Elinor Mann is now looking out for her.

Sabrina was part of Walpole High School’s class of 2020 and an active member of the Robotics team. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2025 with dual degrees in Chinese and Neuroscience and was a Vice President for URI’s Student Advocacy for Disability Awareness/Action. Sabrina moved on to work in her chosen profession at the Neuro Behavioral Center in Walpole supporting a caring team that provides adult psychiatric and psychology services. During her early years, she enjoyed several years of dancing with the Commonwealth Dance Academy in Walpole and practicing with Villari’s Martial Arts Center .

Sabrina was beautiful inside and out. She was witty and warm—funny and kind. Sabrina’s Chinese middle name, Jing-Hua, means Collection of All the Best Things. She fulfilled the promise of that name, becoming a young woman composed of all the best parts of those who loved her most and sharing it back with them. Exemplifying this, she filled the spaces around her with collages and mementos that reminded her of the memories and people she loved most.

Sabrina found purpose in developing deep relationships and showing affection through her acute attention to detail for those she loved. When her mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Sabrina made purple ribbon pins for friends and family to wear in solidarity, wearing it proudly at URI graduation. When her beloved brother (she lovingly nicknamed Peb because he resembled a cute pebble when he was born) was applying to colleges, Sabrina wrote him a heartfelt peer recommendation championing him. When she could not find the perfect gift for her boyfriend, Connor, Sabrina thoughtfully made it herself featuring his favorite things. To be loved by Sabrina was to be known by her, sometimes even better than you knew yourself. So many people were buoyed by her “love you’s.”

Sabrina’s superpower was making connections and friendships between other people—a matchmaker. She was the glue in every sphere of her life, always helping people find their people. Her love and light will live on forever through the countless connections that she fostered in her time here. Sabrina magnified all the joy she could from the little things in life, using every holiday as an excuse to dress up and celebrate with friends and day-to-day she nurtured community at school, work and in her personal life.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025, from 1:00pm to 4:00 PM at Alexander F. Thomas and Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, Walpole, MA.
