Michael Nosal, Sr. of Walpole MA entered into eternal rest on Tuesday August 17,2021. He was born in Mittenwald Germany, June 16, 1947 and was 74 years old. Michael served in the U.S. Army, was a Vietnam veteran and was awarded a Bronze Star with Combat V. He supported the Ukrainian communities with generous donations, was a member of the Ukrainian American Veterans and was a past president of the Ukrainian American Youth Association - Boston Branch.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Maria (Stashkiw) & Wasyl Nosal,and is survived by his beloved wife Anna, son Michael and wife Ulana,
granddaughters Deanna and Sofia; sister Helen Majkut and husband Roman, brother Robert Nosal and wife Mari, sister Anna Wenzlow and husband Eric along with all their family members.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michael's Visitation in the Alexander Thomas & Son Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, Walpole MA, Friday August 20, 2021 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm with a Panachyda service at 7:00PM.Requiem Divine Liturgy will be held Saturday August 21st 2021 at 10:00am at Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church, 146 Forest Hills Street, Jamaica Plain, MA. Burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, V.F.W. Parkway,West Roxbury MA. Celebration of life luncheon to follow.
