Michael R. Altamuro

Michael R. Altamuro, Jr. of N. Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Rome, New York, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2021, at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, at the age of 78.  Born May 25, 1943, in Herkimer, NY, son of the late Michael and Bessie (Harper) Altamura.  Michael is the loving husband of Nancy (Komanecky).  Devoted father of Michael and Diane Altamuro of Mahwah, NJ, Shari and her husband Michael Vigneau of Walpole, MA, Marc Altamuro of Utica, NY, Brian and Danielle Altamuro of Syracuse, NY, and the late Paul Altamuro and his wife Maria of Key West, FL.

Loving brother of Laura and her husband William Lawrence of Herkimer, NY, the late Frank Altamura, and the late Patricia Bolen and her husband Allen.

Cherished Poppy of his 5 grandchildren Michael, Danielle, Connor, Evan, and Zoey.
