Mary A. (Mackey) Kozloski passed away peacefully after a hard fought cancer battle on November 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 22, 1965, in Waltham, MA, Mary's life was a testament to her friendly, faith-filled, and selfless nature.
Mary was the cherished wife of the late Joseph “Skippy” Kozloski Jr., whom she married on November 4, 1989. Their relationship was one of deep love and partnership until Skippy’s passing in 2007.
She was the beloved youngest daughter of ten children of the late Albert and Harriet (Shaw) Mackey. Mary raised a strong family in her role as a mother to Hillary Smith and her husband Dylan of Nashville, TN, Jared Kozloski and his wife Lacey Elkins of Oceanside, CA, and Kathleen Kozloski of Nashville, TN. Her joy was multiplied as she embraced her role as "Nana" to her adored grandchildren, Maverick Joseph, Lettie Grace, and Abigail Josephine.
Mary is also survived by too many nieces and nephews to count, siblings, cousins, in laws, and close friends, especially Gregory Wade.
Mary's academic journey began at Norwood High School and continued as she earned her Associate's degree in nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island. Her passion for caring for others led her to a fulfilling career as a pediatric nurse, where she touched the lives of countless children and their families with her kindness and expertise.
Mary will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
