Margaret "Maggi" (Foti) Erickson

Margaret “Maggi" Erickson (Foti), age 67 of Walpole, passed away peacefully in her home on February 19th surrounded by loved ones. The daughter of the late Joseph and Peggy Foti of Norwood was a devoted mother, daycare provider and respected member of her community. She is survived by her son Daniel Erickson and his wife Kate of Portsmouth, RI, son Michael Erickson and his companion Aimee Jones of Walpole, honorary daughter Amy Jackson and her husband Justin of North Attleboro, and was predeceased by her youngest son Brian. She was the cherished sister of Cathy Kenney, Marie Foti, Tony Foti, Billy Foti, and the late Jay Foti, and was beloved by her many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. In her later years, her granddaughter Grace was the light of her life along with those who helped her through her courageous 8-year battle with cancer, including Shannon Donovan and the staff at Dana Farber and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Visiting hours will be held Monday evening (February 27) from 4-7 PM at the Alexander F. Thomas and Sons Funeral Home located at 45 Common Street Walpole. Relatives and friends are all welcome. A celebration of life will follow at Napper Tandy’s in Walpole from 6-9 PM. The location of 1065 Main St. is within walking distance from the funeral home and has off street parking. Food and drinks will be served.
