Josephine Ford (Glynn) "Josie" of Medfield formerly of Readville passed peacefully after a brief illness on April 22, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 78.  Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kelly) Glynn.  Devoted mother of Michele Cummings and her husband John of Walpole, Joseph Ford (BFD) of Dorchester, and Jennifer Bergin and her husband Leo of Quincy.  Chersihed sister Ann Marie Wallace, Joseph Glynn, Mimi Glynn, Paul Glynn, and Michael Glynn.  Loving "Nana" of Katie, Bridget, and Nora (Cummings), Josh, Ryan, Lea, Eleanor, and Noah (Bergin) and great grandmother of Brody and Brooks Bergin.  Josie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in laws, and close friends.  Visiting hours will be held on Saturday (May 2) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Alexander F. Thomas and Sons Funeral Home (45 Common Street, Walpole) relatives and friends invited.  Interment will be private at families request.  Josie was a proud graduate of The Laboure School of Nursing and she worked as an RN for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for many years.
