West, Joan Marie (Carrier) of Stoughton passed peacefully on April 24th surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84. Daughter of the late Edward H. and Sedella M. (Smith) Carrier. Loving mother of Mark West of North Attleboro, Deborah Rioux and her husband Stephan of South Carolina and Pamela Buchtmann and her husband Edward of Mansfield. Devoted companion of Ermie Carlino of Stoughton. Cherished sister of Muriel Minkle of Chelmsford, Marge Carrier of Taunton, Janet Flaxington of South Attleboro and the late Robert Carrier and Barbara Mersicano. Loving "Nanny" of Sheri Luke, Shauna Arapoff, Corey West, Kelly Buchtmann, Brian Pinnetti and Zachary West. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting hours will be held Monday morning from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, Walpole. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
