James P. Gill Sr.

James P. Gill Sr. of Walpole passed away on January 8^th peacefully at the age of 60. James was the beloved husband of Michele (Flaherty) for over 40 years. Son of the late Tom and Claudine (Stockall). James was the loving father of Melissa Anagnos and her husband Paul of Franklin, Jimmy Gill and his wife Sarah of Rumford RI, and Michael Gill and his longtime girlfriend Brenda Bell of Plainville.  Brother of Robert Gill and his wife Ginny of Brookline, Jean Howard-Brissett and her husband Jack of Plymouth, Mary Ann Saurino and her husband Joseph of Norfolk, twin brother Joe Gill of Plymouth and the late Tom Gill and his surviving wife Marta of Westwood. Loving Grampa of Sydnie, Erin and P.J. Anagnos. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will take place at the Alexander F. Thomas Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 12 from 4pm to 8pm. Relatives and Friends are invited. Funeral mass on Thursday morning at 11 am at St. Mary’s Church in East Walpole. Interment at St Francis Cemetery in Walpole. Any donations in James’ memory can be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
