Freda (Johnson) Gardner

Freda Johnson Gardner, age 98, of Sharon, Ma passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023, in
Charlotte, NC. She was born on January 7, 1925, in Hopkinton, MA.
Freda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William B. Gardner, and her children,
Kathleen Gardner and William C. Gardner and his wife Paula.
Freda was a loving sister to Richard McCormack and his wife Mary Lou. She was a cherished
grandmother to Karen Levanson, Mark Levanson and his wife Chiresse, Kelly Gardner Medeiros and
her husband Phil, Scott Gardner, Jill Gardner Kenney, Kerri McCormack Russo and her husband
Robert, Janelle McCormack Barros and her husband Jim. Freda was also a proud great-grandmother
to Amanda Fontes Demers and her husband Ben, Danielle Carter, Kelsey Levanson Ciucevich and
her husband Anthony, Kyle Russo, Reilly Russo, Thomas McCormack, Sophia Barros, and Ashley
McClure. Additionally, she was a great-great-grandmother to Owen Demers.
Freda was also the Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
In her free time, Freda enjoyed camping, gardening, and hosting holidays for her entire family. She
had a passion for baking and delighted in preparing delicious treats for her loved ones.
Freda will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they
shared with her.
A private family gathering to celebrate Freda's life will be held at a later date.
