Edward F Schnurr

Edward F. "Fritz" Schnurr of Sharon passed on August 12th at the age of 93.  Beloved husband of the late Doris J. (Scott) of 71 years.  Devoted father of Eddie Schnurr and his wife Jan of Needham, Joanne Richardson and her husband Mark of Sharon and Jeffrey Schnurr and his wife Mary of Walpole.  Cherished brother of the late Gertrude.  Loving "Bumpa" of Abby, Amanda, Laura and Derek and great grandfather of Jennifer.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Edward was a member of the Local 103 IBEW for over 50 years and he was a proud Army Veteran.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning from 9-12 at the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, Walpole, MA.  Interment at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon, MA.  Relatives and friends invited.   Please in lieu of flowers all gifts in his memory can be made to Sharon Beech Tree Park, Sharon Fire Department or charity of your choice.
