Earl C Smith

Smith, Earl C. a lifelong resident of Walpole passed peacefully on January 20th surrounded by his loving family at the age of 88.  Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. (Powderly) of 66 years.  Devoted father of Earl D. Smith and his wife Cynthia of Walpole, Jean Cole and her husband Robert E. of Northport, ME and James Smith and his wife Susan of Walpole.  Brother of Emily Rogers and her late husband Lenny of Florida and the late James Smith.  Loving "Poppies" of Vanessa, Alexandra, Anna James, Joseph and Meaghan and great grandfather of Brenna. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.  Visiting hours will held Tuesday morning from 10-12 at he Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, Walpole. Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Relatives and friends invited. Late Korean war Army veteran and a long time Union carpenter.
