Dr. Donald Akikie

Dr. Donald Akikie of Naples, Florida, formerly of Westwood and Walpole, passed peacefully survived by his loving family on July 28 at the age of 91.  Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Cox) of 44 years.  Devoted father of Michael R. Marks and his wife Lucia of Walpole, Daniel J. Beaumin Akikie and his husband Franck of Quincy and Katherine Akikie of Walpole.  Cherished brother of the late Joseph Akikie and Joanne Khoury.  Loving "Jidoo" of Jake T. Marks and Julia D. Marks both of Walpole.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening from 4-7 at the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, Walpole.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:30 at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood Street, Jamaica Plain.  Please in lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to Our Lady of Cedars, 61 Rockwood Street, Jamaica Plain 02130.  Interment at Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
