Bernard F. Wood Jr.

Bernard F. Wood Jr. of Walpole formerly of Hyde Park passed peacefully on February 8 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 76.  Beloved husband of Eris B. (Ross) of 55 years.  Devoted father of Bridget Gough and her husband Shawn of Wrentham and Daniel Wood and his wife Tara of Walpole.  Loving "Papa" of Matthew Gough and Audrey Wood, and also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.  Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, all services will be private, and Bernard will be interred at the National Cemetery in Bourne.  Bernard was a Navy Medical Corpsman at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Quantico, Virginia.  After serving in the Navy, he moved to Walpole where he retired as a project manager in the computer manufacturing industry.
