Barbara passed away peacefully on August 6, 2022.  She was surrounded by her family as she went to heaven on Eagles wings.  She was the wife of the late Walter C. Tillinghast.  Together they had 4 children:  Susan A. Sears, Scot A. Tillinghast and his wife Deb, Robert W. Tillinghast and his wife Renee, and Jonathan E. Tillinghast and his late wife Kristen. She was the devoted sister of Judy Murphy, Janet Kitchen, John Young, and the late Robert Young.  Loving "Ema" of 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren..  Visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening August 10th from 5-8PM at the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, Walpole, MA.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning, August 11th, 2022 at 11AM at the Church of Emmanuel, 106 Central Street, Foxboro. MA.  In lieu of flowers charitable donations can be sent to Anglican Church of the Redeemer, 195 Main Street, Suite 4, Franklin, MA  02038.   Interment will be private.
