Barbara Haney, Walpole, MA. Barbara DeLue lived in Dorchester, MA and attended St. Gregory Elementary School and St. Gregory High School. After high school, she went to Emmanuel College and graduated in the class of 1949. She worked as a blood technician at the Boston Eye and Ear Hospital after college.
In 1956, she met Charles Haney of Walpole, MA and they were married in 1958. A daughter Mary Ellen was born in 1962 and a son Charles, Jr. (Chuck) in 1963. She lived in Walpole after marriage and worked at both the Old Stone School and the Fisher School as a teacher's aide. In 1968, Charles and Barbara bought a house on Palm Street in Falmouth. They spent many happy summer days on the cape with their children and friends.
Barbara leaves behind her husband Charles, her daughter Mary Ellen and her husband Gianni D'Intino of Derry, NH, her son Charles (Chuck) of Hudson, NH, grandchildren Nicholas and Lauren and a sister Claire Bayze and her husband Bob and their children of Tucson, AZ. Funeral from the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, Walpole, Tuesday morning at 9, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Norwood at 10AM.
