Abla (Frangieh) Laham

Abla Laham (Frangieh) of Westwood passed peacefully on August 14 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 90.  Beloved wife of the late Joseph Laham Sr. of 68 years.  Devoted mother of Anthony "Tony" Laham and his wife Linda of Norwood, Lena "Suzie" Halabi and her husband Joseph of Norwood, Joseph Laham Jr and his partner Paula Gangemi of Marston Mills, John J. Laham of Hyde Park, and the late Simon Laham and his surviving wife Catia of Norwood.  Cherished sister of Jeannette Khawand  and her late husband Najib of Lebanon and the late Peter, Sayed, Yusef, and Simon Frangieh.  Loving "Sito" of Anthony Laham Jr., Casandra Laham Massih, Diamond Jeneid, Adba Halabi Najjar, Joseph Halabi Jr., Leila Halabi, Sayed Halabi, John J. Halabi, Danielle Laham, Jacqueline Markopoulos, Christopher Laham, Nicholas Laham, Victoria Gotra, Antoine Laham, Maria Laham and Charbel Laham.  Also survived by 31 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening from 4-8 at The Alexander F. Thomas and Sons Funeral Home 45 Common Street Walpole.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday morning at 11:00 at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church 61 Rockwood Street Jamaica Plain.  Internment at Westwood Cemetery.  A mercy meal will be celebrated at Byblos Restaurant, 678 Washington Street, Norwood, Ma.  Relatives and friends invited.
